It’s 5-O’Clock Somewhere:
The Satsuma Blossom

After our recent trip to Vietnam, we’ve found our trusty standby cocktails are leaving something to be desired. Give us excitement, give us adventure—give us the happiest of hours on the most beautiful of beaches! Cue the Satsuma Blossom. This gin-spiked delight gets a sweet-tart kick thanks to the satsuma, a variety of mandarin orange that’s particularly suited to triggering tropical daydreams. Did somebody say cocktail umbrella? Don’t mind if we do.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

2 oz. gin
1.5 oz. satsuma juice
1/2 oz. simple syrup
Dash of Peychaud’s Bitters
Fresh mint leaves

HOW TO MAKE IT…

Combine the satsuma juice, simple syrup, and bitters in a glass (we serve it in our Glimmer-Wrapped Glassware). Muddle with a few mint leaves. Pour in gin, add ice
and stir.
