The way we see it, December should begin with hot chocolate, warm up to eggnog, then fizzle out with champagne. But January? ‘Tis the season for juicing, friends. Lean, mean and oh-so-very green, this veggie-packed, ginger-spiced concoction is the perfect fuel for New Year’s resolutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

1 bunch watercress
1 bunch celery
3 ripe pears
3” piece of ginger

HOW TO MAKE IT…

Juice all ingredients and combine. Dilute with 8 ounces of water or, if you’re feeling feisty, drink straight.
