Alas—the final installment of our dip-dye series! In our last two tutorials, we catered to our interiors and fashion friends. Next up: foodies! Just for fun, we dip-dyed eggs to test out our favorite technique, and as you will see, we got amazing results.
Always be prepared! Check to make sure you have all of the supplies needed for the DIY before you begin.
Pour hot water into a small bowl (or teacup)—not too full!—and add a splash of vinegar.
Squeeze at least 30 drops of your favorite hue of food coloring into the liquid.
Dip your egg quickly halfway, then pull up to your second tier and hold for 20 seconds.
Pull up for your final tier and hold for as long as you like —the longer you hold, the more saturated the color.
Make as many color variations as you like. The best part? They make a healthy snack!
