If there’s one thing we want to eat this summer, it’s an acai bowl. And if there’s one place we want to eat it, it’s at Haleiwa Bowls. Just steps from the waves of Oahu’s North Shore, this unassuming beach hut serves up some of the most Instagram-worthy berry blends around. Topped with tropical fruits sourced entirely from the island’s farms, they’re as good for you as they are gorgeous.

“Some hail the acai bowl for its beauty properties, such as promoting vibrant skin, or its anti-aging effects,” says Haleiwa owner Sam Custin. “Others simply love the refreshing flavors of fresh fruit after a day in the sun and ocean.”
