The way we see it, December should begin with hot chocolate, warm up to eggnog, then fizzle out with champagne. But January? ˜Tis the season for juicing, friends. Lean, mean and oh-so-very green, this veggie-packed, ginger-spiced concoction is the perfect fuel for New Year’s resolutions.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
1 bunch watercress
1 bunch celery
3 ripe pears
3″ piece of ginger
HOW TO MAKE IT
Juice all ingredients and combine. Dilute with 8 ounces of water or, if you’re feeling feisty, drink straight.
